When you are testing your refrigerator to confirm rather the cooling unit is good or bad for the models above, do not test by LP gas. This thermostat is set up so the LP gas will light an burner making the coils hot, but no cooling. A bad thermostat will have the low flame at all times, but no high flame, which does the cooling. The low flame only maintains. Test any cooling unit by AC electric power first. Before you rule the thermostat the problem you could Confirm cooling unit is OK first with AC by wiring the AC element straight a to power source  not going through the thermostat to confirm if the cooling unit cools correct. Once cooling unit tested . checked with a pass you be OK to order Dual AC LP thermostat for replacement to solve the issue of not cooling correct on the LP. AC still will work as it did before nothing should affect cooling for either the LP or AC now .
