Condenser thermostat Surface mounted for the Amish Cooling Unit  This switch is a normally open switch that is closed by surface temperature closes different that the OEM thermostat due to in being place on the Steam pipe. This switch will activate the cooling unit fans. The temp setting for activating the fans with this switch is different  than the OEM’s fan thermostat and should be placed on the condenser fins to activate the fans..

  We feel it is better to have, when needed, the fan air flow start before the cooling unit performance starts to fail.

This switch is used to replace the OEM’s installed switch at the time the New Amish built cooling unit is used.

Non operating fans, either from bad switch or bad fans, are the most common problem to cause of early cooling unit failure.

To even give you a better Option,replace the surface fan switch with ours, we have the OEM thermostat fan switch and the Amish style fan in stock.  They are listed separate, they look the same.  We also have the Digital Fan control you can fine tune your ON & OFF run setting.

Our Digital Fan Control will give you  full control of setting the fan run temps of turning ON and turning OFF at your selected not at a factory preset temp.
